Presentation: Karolinska Institutet – UNICEF Joint Conference on Global Child and Adolescent Mental Health
I am thrilled to announce that I will be presenting at the Karolinska Institutet – UNICEF Joint Conference on Global Child and Adolescent Mental Health in May 2024.
The title of my talk will be: Just-in-time adaptive interventions for adolescent health and well-being: data-driven and participatory approaches to inform digital mental health implementation.
This presentation will discuss findings from an ongoing systematic review conducted in collaboration with researchers at TU Delft, Erasmus University Rotterdam, Tilburg University, and Gro-up. Insights from qualitative participatory sessions with adolescents regarding perceptions of adaptive digital mental health technologies will also be shared.
I look forward to exchanging with other conference attendees in Stockholm!
Update 04.12.2024: What a conference it was! It was inspiring to see the breadth of perspectives and initiatives across sectors and regions to promote adolescent mental health. Over half a year later, I still think about one presenter (from UNICEF’s) proposal to reframe “Health in All Policies” to “Child Health in All Policies” in public health policy decision-making. I am grateful for UNICEF and Karolinska for convening delegates from around the globe to align on this important discussion, and for facilitating new connections with collaborators doing incredible work to address mental health outcomes among adolescents through co-creation.
